Philippine Eagle "Malaya" is Back into the Wild!!

Wildlife preservation is one of the advocacies of the  Nueva Ecija Backpackersand Mountaineers Community (NEBMC).

Last September 24, 2016, with the help of Mr. Roy P. Manuzon of KAPUNCAN, the NEBMC was given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity  to release a Philippine Serpent  Eagle  named “Malaya” into the wild. Malaya was captured by a local in Brgy. Puncan, Caranglan, Nueva Ecija  before it was turned over to Mr. Roy P. Manuzon, an environment advocate based in that Brgy. Puncan, Caranglan.
If you want to be a part of our advocacy to promote environmental and wildlife preservation as we enjoy travelling and exploring the wonders of nature that God has given to us, check out the Nueva Ecija Backpackers and Mountaineers Community (NEBMC) Facebook page to know more about us and find out how you can join our growing family.
