Legend Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio, Jeff Horn stunned an upset to take home the WBO welterweight championship title. Manny Pacquaio got this title when he defeated Mexico’s Jessie
Vargas via Unanimous decision at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada November of last year.
The judges scored the bout judges scores of 117-111, 115-113 and 115-113 all in favor of the new Champ Jeff Horn.
At 38, Manny Pacquaio proved he still has what it takes to fight
toe to toe against a much stronger, younger and undefeated fighter in Jeff
Horn. Both fighter did not fail to display such a great match for all the 55,000
audience in attendance and the millions watching around the world.
"I didn't expect that ... that's part of the game,"
Pacquiao said. "That's the decision of the judges. I respect that."
"Absolutely, yes. We have a rematch [clause] so no problem," Pacquiao said. "Yeah, yeah. He beat me."
After the decision, Pacquaio recognized his loss and did not hesitate to express his
desire for a rematch. A fighter gracious in defeat as he has always been.
Despite the controversial loss, the Filipino fans will always support the "Pambansang Kamao", Manny Pacquaio.
