Mt. Kaanducian - the newest outdoor destination in Pantabangan Nueva Ecija!
Pantabangan Nueva Ecija is famous for being home to one of
the largest dams in Southeast Asia. Tourists from different parts of the region
visit this place to appreciate the beauty and engineering wonder
of the historic dam, savour original Novo
Ecijano delicacies, go fishing at Pantabangan lake, enjoy the Pandawan festival
and most importantly to experience the simple yet colorful culture of the
Pantabangeños. Located within Central Luzon and surrounded by both Sierra Madre
and Caraballo mountain ranges , Pantabangan is an accessible and an affordable
destination perfect for any family or barkada getaways.
There are many places in Pantabangan that we already know
about but there are still plenty of which we are about to discover. Just
recently, the local government unit of Pantabangan in partnership with Nueva
Ecija Backpackers and Mountaineers Community Inc. (NEBMCI) began exploring Mt.
Kaanducian in Brgy. Liberty which will be opened very soon for outdoor
adventures such as camping, hiking and boat riding.

A. Mt. Kaanducian Background
Mt. Kaanducian is reforestation site located close to
Pantabangan Dam. There is a Nursery in the 1st Monitoring Station where
seedlings are grown and propagated. Tourists during during planting season will take charge of planting these seedlings thru the "1 Hiker, 1 Tree" program while tourists during summer season will perform the nurturing duties for the plants.
At the summit of Mt. Kaanducian, visitors will enjoy a bird’s eye view
of the lake, the nearby communities and surrounding mountains. Another
contributing factor that will give tourists a holistic outdoor experience are
the friendly and hospitable local people. Visitors will find it very convenient
as Mt. Kaanducian is located in close proximity from Hospital, Restaurants and
Public Transport facilities. Visiting Mt. Kaanducian is going to be an exciting
adventure filled with fun and fulfillment as tourists take part in the advocacy
to preserve the mountain and the area surrounding it thru reforestation,
clean-up drives and tree nurturing activities.

0930H – ETD Going to Intang (Via Tricycle)

May mountain din po malapit sa cuyapo na dinarayo ng kapag mahal na araw. It's mt.bangcay, pag dating po sa may krus or sa taas nya may magbibigay ng rosary and i think may maliit na grotto na pwedeng magdasal.And yung Mt. Bulaylay also in cuyapo na pwede kang mag zipline.
